NBeast 2008 in Yorktown, 9-20-08
a few NBeast 08 shots.
anywho, turned out to be a nice day... started out sunny, went to really cloudy & threatening to rain (typical NBeast weather  ). ended up cloudy, but cool and with a nice breeze.Shelley, Ollie and Beej, Spacegrrl (Lisa) and Jason, Cetacean (John), Bearzworkshop (Jeff) and Darlene, and Lisa and I were the newbeetle.org folks at the Riverwalk. Local friends Dave & Lynn joined us later on with their new vert. A bunch of Golf/Jetta/GTI/R32 folks from the Peninsula & Southside showed up too---they're a good group.  Mostly the day was spent hanging out, with a little cookout on the side...dogs, burgers, bratwurst and munchies. mmmmmm. A bunch of the New Beetle crew wrapped up the day with dinner at the German Store & Cafe in Yorktown...awesome restaurant. Many thanks to those who attended---special thanks to Shelley for the goodie bags, Lisa for the VW trading cards, and Ollie for the cars.

Mmm, Jagerschnitzel.
Looks like fun, I wish I could have gone. Maybe next year I'll actually have time to have a social life
