I was at the LA Auto show yesterday and took a few pics on my iPhone, which I'll post later. The little VW Bug in the commercials was on display, including the microphone which it talks into. They had several diesel models on display as well for you diesel fanatics. Alan, there were 2 Smart cars...a Cabriolet and the Coupe. The doors sure sounded tinty closing them though, but there was definitely enough room for 6 footers+ Down in the basement, they also had several Smarts customized with sound systems, wheels/tires/fender flares, and complet interior re-mods. It was also cool seeing the Aston Martins, Ferraris, Lambos, Spykers, Bentleys, and other mega $$$ cars.

I saw the new special edition New Beetle convertible with the special color interior. It was nice, but it sure would be nice if they offered some new bright vivid colors on the car like they did in the past.

After looking at my pics taken on the iPhone, I remember being unable to take pics around many of the VWs as their were hordes of people surrounding the vehicles.....esp the Beetle with the camera inside and the visitors sitting inside doing a karaoke that showed on a video board mounted in front of the car. I did take one that was so blurry I deleted it, so for quality sakes, here is the little friend everyone loves.
