Hey Al, we need to do something local a little more often... ya think.
I'm so down with that mang. You/Kris and I/Val are the only nB orgers left. Des and Mike have VW's which is cool, and are very welcome as always, but us two are the only nB's in the lot.

I think There might be a nB in Des' family though, so I guess there's 3 of us.

You and Kristen are good people and I hope we can hang out more. And Val even remembered you guys. She was telling our daughter, Crystal that you all were at the dragon. Crystal couldn't recall you at first until Val said "they were the one that had that nice convertible"- she soon remembered. Funny how our bugs sometimes identify us

How bout 5-guys next weekend? PM me and we'll work something out. I'm sure Mike and Des are good for it too. I've gotta get out, tag a few beetles and get a few more into the collective

As much as I'd like to, I can't take any credit on this first-rate GTG.

All Credit goes to Gary.

Gary got this GtG in motion back in December of '08. His persistence with posts/bumps and encouragement to get people in a better planning mode, is what made the Dragon the success that it was, and has propelled this event into 'must-attend' status, regardless of what region of the country you're from. I just added a little something into the mix, to make Gary's event successful. The praise all goes to Sir Gary The Dragonslayer

I'm wearing my ToD shirt as well- wore it to work today

A little addendum to the axiom "avoid real life- attend a GTG". I think the GTG was an aid to real life. The memory of the event and the friendships that were forged, helps us cope with the cares that life can sometimes burden us down with. How many of us looked back on this past week and automatically smiled, thinking of the people we met for the first time or seen again? Seeing others enjoy life as we did that weekend is a good tonic for what life can sometimes ail us. Riding the Dragon was an accelerant of all we experienced. And the Dragon was just sheer awesomeness by itself!!

I wish you all were near to me. I'd love to have you all over for a good BBQ Dinner and just have a good time hanging out. It's not an upstairs loft (honeycomb hideout), but it'll do

It is May '10 yet?

Don't feel bad Sully. I was behind you in the fog of the Skyway, and didn't see you exit for the 'mysterious scenic overlook'. It's a chapter for the X-files I tell ya

Something is happening in the fog of the Cherohala Skyway.

Well put Al. I haven't stopped smiling since we got back on Sunday. And all the planning for 2K10 and looking forward to seeing old friends again is what will get me at least, thru till next May. And we all made this event what it was and what it will become to us and the Org.

Oh ya, don't forget we'll need a 2K10 flyer for the 1st page of the new 2K10 ToD GTG thread in the next few weeks

I still like the idea of the sign that said "curves ahead" and someone graffittied "no ****!" HAHA I'll google it tonight, maybe it's posted somewhere, That would make an awesome GTG shirt, just maybe edit it to say "no crap" or something so it's PC.

Friggin sweet mang.

I grabbed one of those pins as well. Don't know what i'm gonna do with it yet. Also got a "I rode mine in 09" pin. That will look good on my '09TOD t-shirt, when I wear it next year, arriving to the Ridge top.

Okay, i'm dreaming big dreams now..... I'd love to get someone to make a TOD patch, that resembles the front of this years shirt and put it on a Letterman's jacket. That way I can put all my TOD pins on it.

I'm gonna look into the patch thing. I think First Coast Tees makes em

I would definitely be up for some patches if we could get them. I got this patch and pin at Deal's Gap. I would love to add a TOD patch from the NB group to the travel bag.

Not that there's any pressure to get it done.

Okay, so I've finally gotten around to sorting through the photos Nicky and I took! Unfortunately, quite a lot of them either turned out blurry or had some other flaw (window reflections, etc.) Here are a few of the better ones.
