Larry's Spring Nationals 2010

It was interesting that these Spring Nationals were held in September, but it was a good turn out none the less. The weather was really nice about the mid 70's all day.

I had parked outside the show area behind the New Beetle area but ended up in the show.

yeah the original date for the show was back in june, but it got rained out, and that is a pretty busy track so that was the day they got. We were down there racing, and for the most part, its a pretty good show. The pro-mods and pro-stocks are always there putting on a show, but its all mostly air-cooled stuff. There is a race this saturday at Quaker City in Ohio for any VW that wants to run. Water/Aircooled, its all good. Pay out is very good, and its 100% payback, which means everything we pay goes for the pay out. Typically we have about twenty cars, but this is only the second year this has been going. We want it to be big. There is also The pittsburgh classic this weekend in PA. The show is always pretty nice. There is always a good swap meet, and the cars that show up for the show, are deserving. The race needs to get bigger, and we are looking for more people to show there too. So alot of good events going this weekend. Glad You had a good time at larry's.
