Thanks for the great pics Tim It indeed was a great GTG.

Denise & I were happy to see some old friends and equally happy in making new ones. For those of you that made this your 1st GTG, I hope you enjoyed yourselves because this is the general vibe during all our GTG's

Thanks to everyone too for their contribution to the GTG experience. WIthout you all, we wouldn't have any GTG at all!!

Yup, Tim, thanks for the shortcut tip. More traffic and slower but it was a nicer drive. Made it home about 5 minutes quicker too. 76 to 6 to 1 to I20.

Very cool
But next time stay on 6. If you had stayed on 6 you would have hit I20 in just 2 or 3 mi. Maybe saved you another 10 min or so.
You could have turned right onto hwy 1 and taken it all the way into Aiken. That is a nice ride through the country and would have passed Shealy's that BBQ joint I was telling you about in Batesburg.


I'm glad you made it home safe, I hope all the others did as well.

What a great GtG!!! Food was great. People were great. I loved it. For once, I didn't take ANY pictures...can you believe that??? lol anxiously awaiting more pics.

Stopped on the side of the road, cause Probie decided Herbie had taken too much attention away from him. lol

IDK how many of you took time to check out the park at all while there, but it had a beautiful view!

One of the times I snuck off to the store for something...

Time to make sure Herbie's window stays up for the trip back to Michigan. Thanks Al for helping out... my arms get tired way too fast holding that thing up! lol

Looking at Herbie, in Cup's reflection, in Herbie's wheel. lol


On the way home... the view was gorgeous. We found out that they gouge, I mean raise hotel prices this weekend every year in this area. Because of hte tourism that the colors bring. <rolls eyes> It was pretty though! lol
