Louisville/corydon gtg @ happys picnic!
Well, another Happys Picnic has come and gone, and we had a BLAST!! The weather was perfect, and everyone was glad it wasn't raining. New Beetles were well represented today, there were 9 New Beetles there!!! That was way up from the last time, when there was only 3 It was so nice to meet Dennis & Pam and Scott & Debbie, very nice folks, VW peeps are the best peeps. Before we parted company, we were already talking about nex years gtg at Happys!! So all that were present, please feel free to post all your pics. I'll start off....
 We started off at IHOP in Louisville, We started off with Myself & Jonk, we added to our list with dmbbluebeetle, aka Dennis & Pam.

When we got to Corydon, we noticed a beautiufl Platnium Grey, New Beetle, who honked at us! We knew then it must be Scott's08Beetle. THAT MADE FOUR N.B.s!!!
Later some more showed up, to add to the number!!!

Happy, our host, has a beautiful white single cab VW truck And here, I'll start listing the rest of the great looking VWs!! We had such a good time. There was also a horse show going on too.
We found a "Herbie" New Beetle, very much like our own "Freaky Beetle". Right beside of it, was a "mini Herbie" I asked the lady if the car had peddles? She responded that there was a motor in it. A 5 hp lawn mower moter! So Cool

We took in all the wonderful sun we could and decided to head back towards Louisville. Jonk, Scott & his wife and 2 beautiful dogs and I headed to the "Round for a Reason" bridge for a photo opp.

It was a perfect day! I got to meet new Org members, and I also got to recruit some pontential new Org members!!! It was very nice to meet Dennis & Scott as well as their spouses, Oh and also, Scott & Debbies "kids".........

It was a great day!!! I got to meet some new friends, invite some possible new Org members. Here is my last picture, it is of all 4 of the owners. We are hoping to meet again at Happys next year!!!!

Well what a day!! I couldn't be happier.Jon,Scott,Dennis & Pam it was a blast getting to talk to you and we enjoyed your bugs!! The "kids" had so much fun they are still asleep

Had to look through all the photo's to see what wasn't posted so far.
The official carabugging to the event pics...   Scott's08beetle is 2 cars up in front of BeetleScott  The line up   I liked this one    This Ghia was a VW/Saturn hybrid. It had a Saturn engine, Dash and steering column.  A nice trike...maybe Bugman might want to reconsider selling that back half NB....  How about suicide doors....

Thanks for all the compliments! Thanks to the other three ORG guys who came. We have decided to work harder for next years Happys Picnic, we want to see if we can get quite a few more Orgers to come! Hey we started out with 2 and we have already doubled it! I was very proud to be one of the people who represented the Org, and maybe if we start earlier next year, we can get a whole string of NBs across one line!!!!
