So far, as I see it, 2 dogs rounded up 5 new beetles and ate burgers and brats cooked on a fan shroud. You're right Jose, you don't know how to plan one of these

 Well Gary, I don't know what to tell you. I wasn't behind a camera all day, but I'm sure I saw people taking lots of pictures all day. So Who knows where those pictures went to. I can tell you that Michelle took plenty of pictures of the after party and they will be worth the wait.

Ok, FINALLY home long enough to upload the photos without falling asleep. So here we go.
Backstory: So as we were leaving, Jack starts up his car and we hear a metal on metal clanking sound. Not a sound we wanna hear. So all the boys go "inspector gadget" on it and start looking for the noise. Once we figure out what it is, we push the beetle into the garage and get to work. After some work, we were able to get the front wheel off, and this is what we found.  Hmmm that doesn't look right. So we take the cover off...and find all this...   These were the loose parts that just kinda...fell out  So...with a little creative thinking....and a lot of head scratching...

Day 2:
We've regrouped, and think we've got it figured out. Realizing we are missing a C clip, we run out to Roger's house to pick up this TINY part...then continue working. Once the gear is all back together, I think we are good...    After the JBWeld is dried, it get's painted..."gunmetal grey"  Back to the car  Parts are all cleaned. And it's time for installation.    It's so pretty.... Now that everything is back together, time to put some gear oil in it...All you need is a funnel and a LONG tube....  Hmm...that looks familiar....and a little like a beer funnel....  Yup...we went there.  And it only got crazier....  OH MY!!! After all the crazy work...and long hours and lots of head scratching. The car is all back together. Took it for several test runs and all seems to be well. Though this is a temporary solution to a much bigger issue, it at least was able to get the car home without issues.... If you need repair work....  ....Call these guys
