Great shots! I especially like the close to the floor shot with the pebbles on the ground and the NB's looking all clean and shiny with that blue, blue sky above them. You can tell you all had a great time.

I despise winter, but if time allows, I will try to do something with you guys. New Beetles, after all, have heat.

Galena is a little over 2 hours from here...we could definitely talk about it.
All I know is I want beetle pictures in the snow and of course to hang out with you guys And yes beetles have heat  I am new to winter here but I am excited, it will be a new experience even if I do end up hating it...we will see

Wisconsin winters are long and brutal. It will start anytime now and last until around the last week of April or the first week of May. In January and February, temperatures of 35-40 below zero are not unheard of. Up here, people start wearing shorts and flip-flops when it's 40 degrees outside.
But Galena IL is about 250 miles south of where I live, so it's about 10-15 degrees warmer. In fact, I'm originally from the Quad Cities (Moline-Rock Island IL-Davenport Ia area) and that's like living in the Caribbean compared with Eau Claire, Wisconsin!

32 degrees this morning and I still have my sandals on.
Skiing at Chestnut... souonds like a plan.  Haven't put on a pair of snow skiis since High School.  I did snowbard right after then though.
