Taken last night at KISW's Pain in the Grass concert while waiting for Queensrych to take the stage. Also performing earlier was Seether, Shinedown, Sevendust, Earshot, Drowning Pool, and Jet Black Stare. Lots of fun!

Another from the concert. Thanks to Island Jenn for the shot.
I'm chatting with "Iron" Mike Savoia of Web Savvy Digital Photography. If you have ever wondered why some photos look like we are shooting up the noses of the musicians, well, this is why. This is the stage! I'm 6', and this is at the right edge of the stage. It slopes down toward the middle of the stage for drainage so it's even taller in the middle. |

Once again, "Iron" Mike Savoia of Web Savvy Digital Photography has captured me in action. This was taken while Queensryche was performing a rare acoustic set to fill in for Saliva who had to cancel their appearance. This show was for KISW's , (99.9 FM Seattle) Holiday Hangover Ball. The headliner was Duff Mckagen's Loaded, which I didn't have high hopes for, but they put on a killer show!
I am shooting Eddie Jackson, normally the bassist, but on guitar for the show. The theme of the show was "Deep Fried, Double Wide", so I bought a John Deere hat, Levi's jean jacket, and a wife beater rounded out with my work boots and jeans. If you want to see my photographs from the show, check out my myspace page photos if you are a friend of mine! Or visit KISW to see the shots as well! |
