Just an update-- I just ordered an Autometer gauge pod and it should be here next week, can't wait!
If anyone has an recommendations on gauges I would be most appreciative. This is a really dumb question but where can I have it installed? Told you it was a dumb question. I'm not brave enough to do it myself and would rather pay and have it done by someone who knows what they're doing, KWIM.

Your 3rd picture makes me think of
 with all of his access panels open.  The pics look great! Where ever could they have been taken? I really don't know what you might put into the gauge pod. Water Temp? Oil Temp? Certainly not boost, I know that much.  Long live the GL!!!!!

Finlly ordered my Stewart Warner gauges from 42 Draft Designs, oil pressure, water temp and voltmeter.
