If you stay on the packed sand you have nothing to worry about. Of course....I strayed from the path and headed to the Dark Side and got myseld stuck in the loose stuff (a little bit of panic set in).....lol...but I managed to dig myself out(whoo whoo). I'm so used to diving a 4x4 that I misjudged the sand depth. I tried letting some air out of the tires which didnt help at all because they are so low profile! But in the end I was rollin' back on the asphalt

getting stuck in the sand is not a fun game...i've been there too...it just took a lot of team work to push the car out...luckily it was not the beetle...nor was it even a euro so there was no panic...

glad your bug was ok!
