OK, lets start with the mileage; so after another 49,822 miles, four more years of owner ship, twelve in all; the only interior issues that I have/had is the drivers seat wearing out on the left side and replacing my headliner. I have fixed the headliner, but the drivers seat I keep for a while longer.

So my NB look like this...

I also decided it was time again to clean the interior upholstery and all was going well until the hoover decided to short out and throw the breakers in the house. Unfortunately I was only a third of the way finished and I had just sprayed the rear seat and floor board and had yet to suck it up!

So I had to wait an hour and half for the wife to run to Wal-mart buy another upholstery cleaner so I could finish; let me add that leaving the interior wet like that for that length of time is not really a good thing!

So after four pounds of Arm & Hammer baking soda and a day and half the damp odor is gone.

I also decided to remove all seating and do the entire carpet; I was going to remove the center console to, but I had a feeling that would be a bad idea, so I did not do it.

WOW that just goes to show you if you take good care of your bug that it can stay looking fabulous no matter the year or mileage!! I hope my girl's still truckin' along at over 200,000 miles!!

Unbelieveable, indeed! It was impossible to imagine a VW New Beetle with a mileage of 300k after reviewing the owners' feedback and complaints on the website. Please keep showing us
as your NB is rolling.




I am wondering whether you have been keeping this baby with special care? Did you put most of highway mileage on this baby? How can you protect your NB from rock chips or scratches
for so many years?
