Hey All, my first post here, thought I would share my Red 99 2.0 5 speed. I had a small crack in my factory front valance, so I decided to upgrade to the VW aftermarket front end. Other options include a K&N Filter Charger kit, Bosal Performance Exhaust system with dual slash cut tailpipes, tinted windows, VM flush spoiler, VW Rave 16x6.5 mags, and Michelin MXV4 P205/55R16 boots. (The carbon fiber hood is a photoshop job - just to see how it would look ) - still keep looking for (and not finding) sixth gear! LOL - I call it Wicked 1 (with wicked web werkz in mind) - was going to get vanity plates to that effect but it's $235 plus tax, and I'm on a poor mans salary right now

holy hotness! if i hadn't gotten my turbo s recently, i was seriously considering that front bumper...and it looks great.

One thing I did find, replacing the factory valance with the VW custom valance really changed the stance of this car - big time! I almost had the dealer not put the front license plate mount on the car as it looked really clean without it, but alas, law requires a front license plate in Ontario. Thanks for all the great feedback... I love this car ;-) I do have a few other pics I can add. I even encorporated the front end of my car in my wicked web werkz logo for my website and my business cards! (how much do I love my bug!)

Have you seen the interior of the NewBeetle Dune? I got a welcome gift from VW that was a tin of coasters featuring the Beetle Dune - one wild looking bug! Now THAT'S what I call an interior! Gotta love that instrument cluster too... much nicer that the single dome on the original.

excuse me... Your bug is just that schweet! Funny how a car that has the same basic shape can still make feel the coolness. I love you road trip pics- taken like an article in automotive magazine. Very nice. Welcome to the org and post often.
