The way this looks is just how it came home today...the rear shot also shows our PT Cruiser (sea mist green--another bright one!)...

Once we sell the minivan, my personalized plate (gold and green, NC Blue Ridge Parkway plate) "NECI" will go on it. I have an oval vanity plate from my Rabbit that says, "It's not a car...It's a Volkswagen." I'm trying to decide if I want to change that gorgeous front bumper....any thoughts? (The plate is really cool though.)

I am so looking forward to playing with my NB! Thank you for looking!

Denise

Beautiful! I'm sitting here drooling over the fact that you have a nice smooth bumper, so I wouldn't change a thing! I say it's perfect as is!

I know! It's from the dealership for the paper tag....I saw it after the pictures were up and had to laugh! Rest assured, it won't be seen again!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad to be here!

You so need to go to NBeast in Durham!!! Show off that gorgeous gal of yours!

Yeah, don't booger up the bumper if you don't have to. I've been driving around SE VA for 2 months without a front tag. Yikes!

paix 247 - a white '00 (non-TDi) was what really got me started on this venture...love the white just as much as a yellow! There's also vent visors on the door windows which I didn't think I would like, but I actually do! I have no idea where they came from, but I imagine they are easy to find.

Thank you!

I've never done it myself. I want to show off my Hermione (obviously, mine's a girl and I'm a Harry Potter freak) with all the stuff I've done to her. It's close enough for me without it being a crazy long drive. Registration for the car show is $12 and include a t-shirt and goodie bag! There's stuff planned both days.

Hey KittenPoker! Thanks for the info! We have been looking at it, and are really thinking about going. I have to work at the school on Saturday, and then back again early on Monday....I guess we could just come for the Sunday part? I hope I'm not too wiped out to enjoy it! (Ouch! 9:00 on a Sunday is a wee bit early! I tend to be more of a night owl!)

the oval vanity plate thing, i have heard the Plate Mate is good, it mounts to your front tow hitch, thats right behind that dot on your front bumperon the passenger side.

Hey there! I saw one today at NBeast....first time I had seen one! I thought it looked pretty neat. I'll be checking it out as an option! Funny -- Eddie said he had mentioned it to me once before, but I don't remember him saying anything! (If he did, I bet I couldn't grok on it, because it fascinated me today when I actually laid eyes on it!)

Thanks for the comments!

Bing is so very pretty/handsome in person!!! (boy or girl, Denise) Very clean and you can tell s/he's well-loved . You're lucky you were so close to NBeast; we had to pack for the entire family!
