No mods as of Yet
Just got both of these cars withing the last 2 months.

How do you tell them apart?

The rims and the moon roof help us figure out whats what...The 2002 has the moon roof and the cooler rims lol..

Mod wise
The turbo mods will be
-A spoiler for the Rear
-Chip & its needed counter parts
-Larger mass air & induction kit
-Full exhaust ( I need the bumble )
-Dark black window Tint
-Performance Rotors and pads
-Was thinking a pearl Black racing stripe down the center
Not to sure on what color yet due to wanting to match the rim inserts in color and the calipers.

The 2001 2.0
-A spoiler for the Rear
-Chip & its needed counter parts
-Larger mass air & induction kit
-Full exhaust ( I need the bumble )
-Dark black window Tint
-Performance Rotors and pads
-Paint wise we may get it repainted due to some impure looks on the 2001 around the door handles.

As this all is going to cost about 3000 each its going to take a while.But thats the plan for now

Silver's a great color for striping. Don't know if you checked my pix thread out (it's in my signature). Granted, I sure you don't want Perplexed Pink racing stripes! but with silver, most any color is possible.

I had a licensed Upsolute tech do my chip. Sonny was awesome! If you goggle Upsolute you should be able to find a fairly local tech to do it in under an hour.

My husband Joe and I did my intake in about 45 minutes. Mine's from Freedom Design, not as expensive as Neuspeed. Very, very cool! Both this and the chip will give you that "umph" you're hankerin' for . I haven't put Hermione (2003 Turbo S) on a dyno but I think I'm about 220 HP at the engine. I'd rather sink that dyno $$$ into the car itself.

220 ponies in a VW is killer .I used ot have a 5.0 GT with close to 450 horses.Its double the car of a bug I'm excited to see what the 250 range in a Bug feels like.I cant wait for tax season...LOL
