I had already shared a few pictures of Freya in another part of the forum, but I thought I would be PC and start her own picture thread.

A big Beetle smile!

I love the way the cream interior looks with the gecko green!

When I have some time later this week, I might take a few "glamor" shots.

Thank you for the wonderful compliments! I have pretty much decided to keep her in stock condition for right now. I am going to invest in some monster mats, though. I get kind of dirty at work, and tend to get mud on my boots.

In the future, I would love to do something with the exhaust, perhaps invest in a preformance muffler.

Monster mats. The best +/- $100 you'll ever spend! Go for it!

Congratulations! Beautiful New Beetle!

Nice, very nice... so far we have kept our baby stock too, one little mod at a time as I still have to eat and pay cable heh

Congratulations on your beautiful new baby! Looks great!

Hey, is that your Expedition too? That would be the ideal setup for us-- the Expediditon for long trips or hauling lots of peeps, and the NB for everyday or solo trips. We sold my Expedition in July-- it was costing us $80 to fill up, once a week. While I love my new TDI, we still miss the Expedition sometimes. It was a great car, 125K miles and never a hiccup!

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Yep, that is my husband's expedition. He is disabled and stays at home playing house-dad. He basicly uses it to haul the kids around. At 13 mpg, I am glad we don't drive it much more than that! The only problem we have ever had with it was when 3 tires blew out at once in the middle of one of the big bridges over Tampa Bay. Continental Tires= bad news!

He has figurged out that his wheelchair fits nicely in the back of the NB, and has been cruising around in it as much as he can (that is, when he can manage to pry the key from between my fingers)*evil grin*

My hubby didn't get much time behind the wheel when we got my S, so he got his own! That was our 2003 TDI. But, a Tornado Red 'vert wooed him, and the TDI had to go. That vixen!

I, too, sometimes wish I still had my Explorer. For hauling and bad weather, you know. But, it's amazing just how much our little round cars can carry!

Very true! It's just like taking baby pictures. I think she likes the water and wants me to take her down there more often.

Hey there sis! Your bug is awesome! I'm loving riding around in the Gecko Green, aren't you? The monster mats are a great buy, I went to Walmart too after I got mine, and they sell these green rugs that are sort of like the woven rugs with a bunch of strips of fabric tied together by little pieces...lol I'm not that great at creating a mental picture, but anyways, they match our cars! They were only like 6 bucks a piece for the regular sized ones, and 10 for a runner. I put the two regular sized ones up front, one in the back, and cut the runner to fit into the other back spot and make a strip that went around the inside part of the carpet that it didn't cover. I'll take pics and post them so you can see what I'm talking about. I've already started to notice that the carpet is going to be hard to keep clean, so I think I have it covered up pretty good.
