Not really mods but I added a Sunglasses holder on the driver side
swaped out wiper blades for new Michelin Radius blades

Wish list:
18" Hufeisen wheels (and adaptors so I can use them)
PAINT!! orange for interior pieces
and get everything fixed thats currently wrong with it
Autotech 2.5" Stainless catback no resonator

Thanks all, I am looking at all the other pictures and I'm finding a lot of mods I would like to put on her. one of the ones I think would look really good is on marvin. I like the center of the dash colored to match the exterior. I need to find out how to do that then I can never afford to get it done but at least I would know.

There are lots of threads on here about mods that you can do. You will be overwhelmed! I know I was... and still am! The painting is really easy to do, it's just time consuming and pretty scary!! But it is so worth it!

what makes it really amazing is I wasn't even looking to buy. I'm looking for work right now after being laid off. While I was going through some junk mail I always giggle at the credit card ads because I don't have a job or a paycheck but they send them anyway! I saw an ad saying I was approved for a credit line on a car and my mom said I should go down to the dealer and say hey I need a job and a car (my 1990 acclaim was pretty much dead in the water)so I went to a vw/hundai dealer and told them about the car/job situation. I knew I would want a beetle cause theres so much room in the front seat and its easier for me to get in and out. I figured I would look at the beetles maybe test drive one and move on cause they didn't have any open jobs avail. The dealer told me they had a used silver one (I was asking about the silver)and asked if I wanted to test drive it. Needless to say I was a little surprised when he pulled up in an orange beetle. So then test drive and of course the dealer was doing his job: selling a car. I figured it couldn't hurt to see if I would qualify for financing. Yeah after that test drive I was hooked and the next day I took my wife over to see the car. Next thing I knew I was taking it home

I'm trying to do some interior pieces orange on my bubble and two-tone her orange. The grab bar and side inner panels all came stock like that on sports right? I want to do similar on mine Its just so very spiffy!

The Snap isnt a sport its a concept colour. Thats how the concept colour cars come

yep it came like that the orange on the grab bar is actually leather. Its in the shop today getting the final cleaning coating and lojack installed I miss it terribly

I decided to name her Snapdragon, for several reasons mostly because buying her was a snap decision and I really like dragons. I was going to use the germen translation of Snapdragon but according to dictionary.com it translates to Snapdragon

What a great car you scored! It looks like the previous owner took good care of it. That nifty looking hoop spoiler wasn't a stock item. It must be a previous owner add-on.

I'm always a sucker for a Snap Orange Beetle. Wanted one big time when they first came out. Then I sat in one- oh my! The day I bought my Beetle, I had to choose between an automatic Riviera Blue or a manual Snap. The auto was the winner! Ack! If I could've afforded two cars....

I just got it back from the detailer, the leather treatment made it so soft I just sat there when I got home petting it <3<3<3
