It's an option when you buy an APR chip. With this, you can reset any CEL's and perform a Throttle Body Alignment. Planning on 18" BBS CH's like this guy has:

I have 93 oct apr and exhaust -automatic trans-installed a j valve and it is the best valve for my set up-lot smoother than stock f valve-better mid and top end, also more boost.

How does your nb react to j valve.

It surges every once in a while under part-throttle. The NGK plugs seemed to help with that though.
