I'm actually thinking of removing the front valance although it was just put on - it's already separating from the front end (looks pretty ucky) . Maybe later I'll have it molded back on. I like the 'attitude' it brings to the car. Ideas?

Should it stay or should it go???

Also, I think the wiper cowl would look better molded on, right?
i say the front would look cleaner with the stock grill was removed.

The reason for keeping the cowl: to me it makes the front of the car flow to the top. I just felt naked without it.

Maybe if I ever get around to replacing the wiper arms, . . .
Yes, I did say that. BTW, he invested $150K in his NB and he never opted for the cowl.

You don't need to replace the arms to install the Bosch wiper blades.

I certainly was not trying to say I was in BHRific's league - god, he's my hero.

I give up.

Miss Ruby will be just fine! I know you've been through a lot and the ding in the valance was kind of a kick in the gut, but she will be just fine.

Take a deep breath.........let it all out. There, now isn't that better?!

Yes smoke a fattie and smile baby, theres one car in about 11,000 members here that has everything molded on. and its for sale for $70,000 dollars!!!! I think considering what she looked like before she's a million times cooler. I would even go as far as putting her in the top ten here on the Org.

I AGREE!!!

From a cosmetic standpoint it is very, very nice. BHRific has a nice ride and for a showpiece of a company it should be that nice. Outside of a company sponsorship that would allow you to fulfill all the expectations you have for your Miss Ruby in a day, you have built her into one beautiful ride.

Just remember when you are going to the Grocery store or the movies or whatever and someone at a red light or the gas pump gives you the "nice car" nod, you can get that everyday driving Miss ruby when BHRific wouldn’t dare bring it out of the garage if it's cloudy. Can’t blame him, that much invested neither would I.

Bottom line, stick with it and keep up the nice, clean and sedate look.

Ruby's first visit to the track (just passing by - no racing today)

If the weather holds, I'll probably go to Test and Tune on Saturday and see if I can put in a few runs

Total hotness! The color almost looks like Canyon Red today. Very cool!

Careful, by being both hot and cool you might get pneumonia.

Yes, I drove REAL fast In fact, on the way home, I kept finding excuses to pull to the side of the road (under the guise of taking pictures of barns) just so I could do fast take offs over and over.

You know that i'm digging the black visors and A-pillars- Awesome work. What was the process of applying the fabric to the various pieces? The other work is choice too You'll have the folks drooling over your baby at the GTG. Way to go!!

I'll have to get back to you on that - I just got it today. I'll be trying it out tomorrow - Mid-PA GTG.

Thanks Al - coming from you, well . . .
Regarding your question: I'm working on how-to's for the fabric applications and (maybe)the custom engine cover.
