Insurance will cover it all but the great state of Ohio in their ultimate wisdom has a min deductible of $500. I can fix it for that and not jack my premiums. So I will fix it myself.

Pinheads. This is why I never upgraded my head unit.

Hey, I've got a center dash piece I bought cheap from TechnoTrixed last year if you want it, it has a red Engine Start button installed between the a/c vents, pretty cool. It won't work with my vert cuz I have the hazard switch up there. N/C for it, just pm me if interested or if you want me to post a pic.

First I want to say Thank you to all the well wishers. It really does mean a lot. Second. A big Thank You to Billsbug for donating his used dash piece to Pomelo. Apparantly it even comes with an engine start button. I doubt I will the botton but I do have other plans for the hole in the piece.

Now onto the update. Pomelo got new glass today. Went pretty smooth. No real problems installing it. I helped the guy by stripping the panal. Removing it, cleaning the glass up, removing the metal piece..... pretty much everything accept bolting the glass in. He had an easy day today.

Let me start with gorgeous job on Pomelo, and then along the lines of WTF is wrong with people. A few years ago, in fact 2 days after September 11, 2001, someone broke in to my civic hatch and gaffled up my head unit, my sub, and the freaking deck lid that covered my trunk. Of all of it i was most p-o'd about the deck lid as they didn't make 'em anymore and i couldn't replace that. But come on, 2 or 3 days after 9-11, shouldn't there be some kind of national break on crime after that. Sucks, sorry some moron broke in, karma will come them in the head someday.
