Well if you really want Pomelo make me an offer. I'm actually very seriously considering selling her and going for a TDi. I've had the diesel itch for about 5 years and only my severe love affair with Pomelo has stopped me from acting upon it. The itch is turning into an all out fever and unless it breaks soon I fear I'll do something stupid and trade Pomelo in.

Tom,

Matrix got RC3 over the weekend... if you do get a TDI.. you WILL love it.

altho I only got to enjoy it for about 5 minutes before the clutch said I give up (all the way down to 2nd gear,,,)

so I get to drive around like grandma until I get the new SMF & vr6 sachs clutch put in..

62042 mile update.

I have had numerous niggling issues as some of you know. So Jose drove out and helped me do some basic maintenance. New Brembo rotors, PBR Ceramic pads, N75H valve, wastegate vacuum line, rotate tires, new battery, new battery fuse panel and an oil change. Suddenly I am boosting like a mofo, stopping on a dime and wearing a grin nothing can wear off.

Tom aka Fowvay

P.S. here are a few pics and OMFG look at the old rotors!!!

Wow. You right about those rotors. It's nice to see this. Makes me think that the nB's will last a long time, maybe like the old Bugs.

I have two more pictures from yesterday.

The first one is of the fuse box on top of the battery. The highlighted section is the 3 blade fuses for the A/C. I caught a rock last summer in the compressor and the fuse didn't blow but it burnt out my fuse panel. So for the last year no A/C. I thought for sure the compressor was fried too but low and behold it works like brand new.

The second of of the N249 bypass. I did a patch work job which is getting cleaned up with matching silicone tubing as soon as it arrives. I also have a proper plug for the block on the N249. I didn't think I'd notice a big difference but the turbo definetly kicks in quicker and seems to hold on longer. Yeah for cheap effective mods.

Tom aka Fowvay

P.S. Yeah for no CEL too.
