How do you get so many rep points dude? Do you guys in the chat room conspire to give each other all those green jellies?

I feel the same way. I was staying steady with the leaders of rep, and i dont even have any light green rep blocks yet

hehe, i know i stopped posting like 10 posts a day and stuff, and i seriously needa stop bein so picky about giving rep.

And now, lets please get back to one of the most discreetly smooth 1.8t bugs on here.

Hehehe thanks. It will be back. I am trying to encourage some snow. It hasn't snowed since I put that avatar up so I am trying a different tactic.

I am loving the wheels on Pomelo. The 18X8 Mille Miglia Action Sports ones. man. the stock alloys make my NB look gutless. and it isn't! =)

Hey Tom,

Love the photos and the mods list makes me drool profusely. One quick Q on the mods... why did you choose to install the TT 225hp engine block?

I'm looking to do up a bunch of mods to my APH as well and am hoping to get similar hp and torque specs to yours. Did you choose that block just for its higher strength and do you think it necessary for that amount of power?

Thanks,
Byron

No the stock block will have zero problems with that amount of power.

Wow it sure has been a long time since I have done a mod or even an update on this thread but today that all changes.

Ok so it is nothing huge but I got sick and tired of bumping my knee into my oversized gear shift knob so I cut down the shave a bit more. Originally when I installed this knob I cut off just over an inch of the shaft ... today I cut off another 3+ inches. I love the new short throws and best of all... no more bumpity bumpy with my knee.

Tom aka Fowvay

This picture shows what I first cut off over a year ago and what I cut off today.

Looks like you've got a short shift installed now.

How short would your shifter be with one of these knobs?
