Yeah, my own personal opinion is to ditch the sidepods and the rub strips. Uber tacky in my opinion. While i don't enjoy the stickers and such, you have so many that it's almost a kind of "look" so to speak. The car has so much potential with all the mods listed that it's a shame to have so much "flare" going on. But than, why should i speak, since i know nothing.

I don't care how fast it is, but it certainly looks like ****. Stock would look 100% better and would be awesome sleeper. Is bragging why you put all those prices in this post?

I dont think the space center would put stickers on that say "life is short drive your beetle naked" and "at 160 mph you have no friends"

IMHO: This car has alot going for it, love that Greddy FMIC , great look, but I think it would look
even better toned down a few notches...Lose the stickers, the side scoops, all the fru-fru. but hey, it's not mine. Enjoy your bug, it does have history behind it.

yes, simplifying the look would go a long way...it'd be one HELL of a sleeper if you made it look stock(ish).

i like the performance mods, like the turbonium side stickers, like the interior (though i do think you could clean up the boos gauge install), don't like the fact that now with the rubstrips and stickers it looks like a nascar in nyc.

lot going for it, could be a lot more if it was cleaned up some.

i really don't think though that ksc would put on some of the less tasteful stickers...just mi dos centavos.

ps: typing in all caps is in violation of the rules.

FYI, The folks that used to own that car worked at Kennedy Space Center and were active on the old org, but I don't think KSC was the actual owner. I was going to buy some of the parts from that car when it was sold, but couldnt find the time to drive over. KSC wouldn't have endorsed (at least openly) such a theme without throwing some major bucks at it.

I say you dont have to loose all the stickers. but ditch the fornt license plate bracket and the rub strips. that would make it a look so much better like that.

I say do what you want man and ignore all the haters. Why should any one elses opinion matter anyway?

I'm glad to see Becky found a good home for that lil' podrod.

That vinyl on the front and rear gave it instant recognition. I haven't seen that bug in well over 5 yrs.

Don't mind the haters! It's all about making the car yours, not what everyone else thinks it should be. If you like the stickers and side-pods, more power to you!
