The US had something similar for 2005, it was called the "Red Flint Special Edition", only 500 were made, came with the 2.slow engine in either 5-spd or Tip (I think). I've seen 'em for sale on www.autotrader.com .

(to me) the BAD thing is : seating on red seats like these would remind me of the RSi ...but when i would put my foot down on you know what while being in this car, it would just bring me back to reality with the feeling of having less than half the power of the RSi... it's just a bloody diesel! jesus!
ok performance is not everthing...but to me it's like fifty/fifty : beauty/performance

dear american friends, don't forget how lucky you are , most of you can run your cars with Unleaded petrol, and not DIESEL.
TWO THIRDS of french vehicles run on DIESEL!!! YUK that sucks
horrible smell, lack of RPM, ugly noise, lots of vibrations, problems with that EGR valve, and many many more issues.....

I absolutely love this car! It is soo unfortunate that it is not available in the US.
I have a Bi-color hard top, I guess that is 'kind of ' close to this but not close enough for me....

Oh well, there will be other special editions, they really are fun though! Enjoy your beautiful convertible!
