Dan make sure you tell him that i'm a tweed lover as He is. I really want to see his interior, especially his seats.

Dan.....WOW!! Dude, i'm proud to know ya. Your interior work is top-notch professional. What is your upholstery background/training? I so want to learn how to do what you do.

Also do you still have your Neuspeed air filter? No heat problems??

Also on pg 2 of your photo diary, there's a red bug with white offset stripes- He's an org member too. Man I wish I could hang with you guys a pretty cool group of mates you have

hey

thanks again for the compliments

i got into the interior trimming by accident,i was at college doing my m.a in textile design and worked at the trimmers part time to pay my way!!! and ended up working there when i graduated!!!

no not had any issues with heat and the filter although had lots of issues with the original OILED k&n that came with it as it kept killing my maf sensor, but the mesh one has been fine

re. the red bug with the stripes, first its a she not a he ,she s called lucy and is 100% vw nut thru and thru, she has a split bus, that she and her other half restored together!! an early rat look bug and her red us import new beetle plus they have a really nice new t5 van amongst other projects!and yes i think she does still get on here!!

we do have a pretty good scene in the uk and some brilliant club meets with www.evvo.co.uk,the new beetle seems to be having a bit of a resurgance at the moment as they are becoming pretty affordable over here now!!

OOPS....My bad. The Bloke is a Sheila. I'm pretty sure that it's the same person on the org though.

Maybe i'll have to find an upholstery shop and provide some free word/assistance to get my hands dirty and work my way up.

hehe yep as Dan says, I'm a girl! And I think the reason we all get our Bugs together more is helped by the fact our country is so much smaller than America - meaning it's much easier for us all to get to the same shows and meets because they're not days worth of driving away.

Altho I try not to park too close to Dan's Bug cos it's so much nicer than mine and mine looks shabby next to it!

That's incredible! Not sure about the orange next to the silver at the top of the door, but I think I could get over it!

Loving the little touches to the center console. That's a really bang-up job!
