finally, after a year, i'm posting pictures of my Ziggy! he needs a bath right now, and he'll be getting one next week when he goes in for routine service

in the background of this pic, you can see a neighborBeetle...




the antenna ball is sort of showing in the next two pics...it's a bat from Disney's Haunted Mansion i am thinking of changing it to something else, though.




this is a "closeup" of the stickers on Ziggy's rear window. below the pic are descriptions/explanations of what they are.


top left: sticker for Daddy Zero, a local "underground" shop (goth/punk/rockabilly), and a StickerGiant.com sticker underneath it (it came free with an order).

top middle: "In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust" - a line from the witch's crede; underneath that is a German flag

top right: a sticker for Atomic Tattoos, where i get inked and pierced.

bottom left: bisexual pride flag (badly faded); anti-GeorgeWBush sticker

bottom middle: Human Rights Campaign sticker (also faded and in need of replacement); underneath that is "Pagan and Proud"

bottom right: a girly skull i found at Target - she has a flower on her head!

BTW, how are the stickers faded so quickly!?! You've only had the window they're on for just over a year!

She lives in Florida, silly! The sun heats those windows up pretty good! When I lived there I would have a hard time keeping my rearview mirror on because the sun was always melting the adhesive. What a pain in the that was! Thank God they dont install rear views that way anymore.

Yep, it's the wicked sun down here that fades them so quickly. plus, the Bi-Pride flag contained lots of red-toned ink (pink and purple), and red seems to fade fastest. which means i have to keep a close eye on my anti-W sticker, lest the "no" symbol fade and the W remain!!!

i think i'm going to remove the faded stickers tomorrow and take new pics (including interior shots, now that he's clean-ish from his trip to the dealer for service)... he now has a bumble-bee antenna topper, a yellow M&M figurine in his rear window, an orange plush VW flower in his bud vase, and a steering wheel cover
