PLUS, just as an update on SICK-SPD after nailing a suicidal racoon last oct., she went to the shop (finally) last week to get both right fenders, both front and rear bumpers fixed. while at it, they are tidying up the drivers fenders as well!
.
now onto some fun!

thanks guys. its currently ready to bee picked up from the body shop.
had a run in last fall with a suicidal racoon. had to repair both passenger fender flares and front and rear bumpers.
the passenger pinch rail got rolled in the incident as well, so they straightened that out too!!
i had the drivers side fenders resprayed while they were off as well!
hope to have her back later this week.
need to replace the front rubbers, they have 6 years of use on them.
not looking forward to $225 each tho.
they dont really look 9"s wide do they?

well i have been working on sick-spd gettin it ready for VOLKSFESTat WATKINS MEMORIAL high school in COLUMBUS OHIO this weekend ( aug.9th) .
finally got the new tires in, and plan to have the front right wheel back tomorrow from repairs. gonna have to get tire mounted and balanced when it gets here.
i spent all day settin the stance for the new front tires (P-ZEROs 215-35-18) instead of the 225-40-18s i ran prior. they rubbed and caused some of the fender damage in the racoon incident.
the new ones have some nice stretch on the 9" wide wheels to compliment the stretch on the rear 10"ers. (plus give more clearance in the flares.
i also modified my rear license plate for its "fancy" new frame.
got her all vac'd out and re-mounted the vw hood emblem.
look forward to showing her for the first time in over a year and a half.
.
hope to see you at the show, until then...heres a few late nite pix.
.

hey, i just wanted to know if the factory rear bumper could be "easily" modded to accept that exhaust, because that exhaust is awsome. you should put up a sound clip so we can hear it
