Well, it basically looks the same. I'm gonna ask for a refund and another detailing though, cause they should not have left that stuff on there.

I have to say though, aside from the wiper area damage, missing cup holder, and a couple other small things, it doesn't look that bad. You have your work cut out for you, but the end result will make you happy.

I'm in NJ also.

I removed the cup holder, it hit my leg too much.

And believe me there are many more things wrong with this car than you can see in the pictures:

-Malfunctioning stereo
-Dusted layers of tiny white paint specks all over, including the windshield, which causes me to lose visibility.
-Ghetto wipers, streak so much I just leave them off when it rains
-Wiper fluid sprays really low pressure despite replacing nozzles
-Engine is not sounding too happy, and wavers a lot.
-Windows suck like some other early NBs.
-Tons of other interior damage.
-Left A/C vent is losing power, always on 1-ish.
-Tires losing grip.
-Hood latch seems like it will come loose and kill me while I'm driving one day.
-Same with the trunk, though in reverse.
-No spare or jack.
-Some undercarriage rust.
-And much, much, more.

Ouch that grill took a good scraping. And folks want me to lower my bug- it looks good but I don't want the same to happen to my Cup, especially with these Florida roads. Looks like you have some interior paint mods on the way- enjoy.

Really like your bug, and the camera you take your pics must be a good one. Your picture quality is choice.

Seriously though, my first real mod is just 3 Super White LEDs for the interior lights. Can't really get a picture of them though.

Sheesh, people must really hate my car. This past week I've gotten 3 large scratches while in the parking lot at work, and my rear hatch has a huge ugly dent in it. Looks like someone punched or kicked it

And to top it off, while driving home on July 4th, some drunk guy side-scraped me and hauled ass. While he hit me I spilled my Gatorade and it got all over the seat and carpet. Now it smells horrible lol. Couldn't get his plates or anything.

I'm close to giving up on this car, and all cars in general until:

-Gas prices go down
-I have a garage
-Gas prices go down
-I have a place at work to park that won't get my car beat up
-Gas prices go down
-More people learn to drive correctly
-Gas prices go down
-Less people drive

Ugh.

Sounds like your poor little buggie is cursed Poor thing. I hope things start looking up for you. I've seen a lot of beetles with the front grille ripped off from people pulling up to far and having the curb rip it off.
