Well that's just cause it's a low car. Mine is like that because of the crash:

I crashed :(

Bleh, car's not looking so hot these days

I still don't have any money for a new bumper, still has the ghetto duct-tape mod holding it together

Also with the winter the window regulation is turning crappy again, haha

I'm near 100k though, haha

Wow... I wish you good luck because it seems you and your NB are having bad luck. Is anything better now?

lol so long story short I had a ton of problems and the car broke down since I couldn't afford the 80k/90k/100k scheduled maint.

So for $700 which I finally saved up I got my timing belt and water pumps replaced (at 101,500 miles, lol) and a tune-up and a couple of bulbs.

Sadly now the transmission is iffy when you upshift under 2k rpm, it hesitates and is dumb =/

Whatever. At least my RPMs aren't 3.7k at 70mph anymore.

Not really. I drive for my job and I've done 4000 in less than 60 days.

Aha, what kind of bumper?

Also, you're in Burlington/Bordentown right? I'm never down there, I'm usually just between Lawrenceville, Princeton, and MCCC.

We gotta stick together man, these NJ roads are deadly!

Stock I guess... next NB that comes to my shop if I can salvage anything I'll let you know.. I think aftermarket bumpers are pretty cheap for NB's though.

You're not lying.. NJ roads are the worst.. I used to drive to S. Brunswick daily and it was a killer commute on my old Golf. If you ever see me give me a shout.. I been known to ride around up that way.

I don't really even need Fogs. If I could find a Painted non fog I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Do you know of any good salvage places around here? Everyone I've been to doesn't have Jetta/Beetle parts for some reason...

And I think I might have seen you one day in Princeton.

I've been seeing a lot of NBs lately. At least 10 I see once a week. I should really go tag them haha

Hahaha hell yes man

In other news:
-Got egged again while paying Fall tuition
-Windows are still annoying rofl
-I spilled soda on the carpet (first spill ever :<<<<< )
-Got a screw in my tire, got it fixed/patched
-Noticed my front brake pads were practically GONE, replaced those (ugh)
-Suspension feels really weird now for some reason.
-I'm really tired of my bumprer lol

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, my Clear corners make me feel good about the purchase every time I look at them. So worth it.

The cost for Margarita's replacement front bumper - OEM VW part, was $525 at the body shop. $500 for paint and installation. The check's in and she should go off Tuesday morning.
