Ahahaha yeah I can't justify putting that much into the car now. The price will have doubled what I bought it for.

Mine the Techno Blue with Clears, I've seen the Silver one there before, and I'm pretty sure the Cyber Green one lives down the street from me. I haven't seen the other Techno blue but it could be one of the ones I posted about before.

Anyway, I finally tagged them with a "Nice Bug! - NewBeetle.org - Join! -AceJay" paper.

So let's see who shows up
Also I thought this was pretty cool:

And I'm really debating on whether or not to buy a new Grille withoout fogs (since I don't use them and they're useless anyway) but I dunno if it's look worse than currently.

Yeah I should probably just get one without and just leave it primed black or something. I dunno.

that's exactly what i did. It's not painted or anything, just snapped the old one out and the new one in.
Only like ~60-70 bucks total, and it has made such a huge difference. Not just that i no longer have a busted up front grill, but it looks meaner/more custom as opposed to even a perfect condition colored one, which doesn't really do anything special for the car imo. One of my friends even said 'that grill made your car, dude.'

I'm just wondering if there's any re-wiring that needs to be done since the Fog switch will still exist. Or something. I really really need to get that grille though.

Also I really want to do the same with my alloys that you did on your covers, but I doubt the paint for them would be cheap.

Well, i'm sure you'd have to do something with the wire ends, but i doubt it would be a problem, i don't know anything about car electric though :P
As for the rims, i did those with a couple cans of wal-mart spray paint! I'm getting a set of alloys soon and i'm gonna do the same design. For those i'm going to get some better paint. But materials wise it will probably be under $50 i'm guessing. Well worth it too, i get compliments on those all the time, and they aren't even actually rims yet! heh.

Instead of buying the new valence, ever consider getting that $45 Votex Bumper?

I should but eh, not really into it now. I should get a Car wash done soon, the salt on the undercarriage is from November. Haven't washed it since August at least. :s

But yeah we've got at least 2 feet now :P

Yeah, that day was pretty awesome haha. Sadly I haven't seen any of them this semester, and it seems that they weren't too thrilled about me tagging them with an org invite. Oh well..I'll keep trying if I find a new bug!

And one last pic in the (slightly melted) snow:

Good thing I didn't try to dig myself out and took the Versa instead - the roads are awful still, and I was stratling 4-8 inches of snow at some points, which scraped the Versa's undercarriage. If I'd have taken my bug out, the Skid plate would definitely be gone.

haha ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can't believe I missed this. I was getting on the highway and noticed the odometer - pulled over and LITERALLY right when I stopped, it changed :<

What happens around this mileage? My ABS light went on a week ago and hasn't gone off like it usually does a day later...

Had a nail in my tire, blew out on the highway, got lucky and had a DOT truck behind me who helped me swap tires and get to work on time.

In other news, this Winter is crazy

Looks like your poor Bug is buried in the snow. It snowed here today too, but not that bad!
