Default my newest garage occupant " SPORTee Bee" (2002 sport 1.8t)

needed a new daily driver in a bad way.
she has 40k miles,BIG BOLSTER black leather int. silver arrow outside.
cold weather package, 5spd., roof, etc!
hope to get through the winter with it and maybe then upgrade to a b6 passat.
until then, i decided to be goofy and fit SICK-SPDS. shoes on her for some pix.
THESE WERE ONLY PUT ON HER TOO BEE GOOFY!!!+ plus show how differantly they fit under stock fenders as opposed to how they fit under "SICK-SPD's widened fenders

SICK-SPD.

.
i have 15" bbs b3 passat vr6 wheels with snows for when the white fluffy stuff falls.
man can i light this things up on the pavement. AND boy do they HOWL!!!!

.
i might be selling the 17" TAKE 5s.(due to fitment of some audi wheels)

.
.
thanks for looking!
dont forget to check out SICK-SPD. in its own thread topic!!
just click on her below!

Those are the 2nd set of ProjektZwo mirrors I've seen today!

SPORTee Bee is looking EFN nice! (I like the license plate!)

The wheels are amazing!

the flares on SICK-SPD are by projectzwo. they are modified to fit without the rest of the kit & molded into factory fenders & front bumper. i also had them sectioned so i could remove the bumper from the fenders.
check out the first & 2nd piks in SICK-SPDS thread and you can see the before and after. (although the ends had already been chopped and filled) they had not been molded & sectioned my beetle in time line fashionto the fenders yet tho..

HEY gang.
SPORTee is not even a month new to me and already a show winner!
recieved 2nd place honors out of 4 nbs @ OKTOBERFEST in Greensburg pa. sun.!
had a great time sun and SATURDAY NITE as well.
(if you are in the pittsburgh area, and like to party..... you must check out BAR 11 on bradish & 12th on the southside.)
great bar, great fun!!

OH yeah. without having fender flares, sick spd's wheels are sooo ridiculously wide looking on SPORTee ,that children are jumping from the sidewalks in fear of being run over.
my wheel adapters shipped today, so my audi a6 speedline 17s will soon be mounted!

Congratulations! And I love the Chicken Pot Pie skit!

Especially watch out for people on Segways with those wheels. Those things are totally going to revolutionize getting hit by cars! (thanks, SNL!)

well, i got some wheel adapters (20mm thick 5x100mm to 5x112mm) today and mounted up the a6 4.2 wheel package (17x8 et 35 & 255-40-17 kuhmos).
i must say i like them better on SPORTee than on my passat wagon.
.
i had to tag 'er with a "BEE" sticker.

.
now the new shoes!!
i think they look pretty good on her!

.

hope to work on the stance after the snow clears!!

well, we had our first frost yesterday, so i figure the snow isnt far behind.

well, they arent the fanciest, but they will suit the snow fine i hope.

factory 1993 passat glx vr6 15" bbs wheels with 195-65-15 winter trekker snow tires.

these are what is on the first post.

here is a reminder "WHY?" just for the sake of saking!

hi dana,
there are so many options out there.
there are many things to take into concideration.
example.
ease of cleaning.
preference of factory or aftermarket styling.
pricing on tires for replacement time. ( bigger are usually more expensive)

you can run 16" up to 19 " on your car. bolt(lug) pattern is 5 lug x 100mm (5 x 100)
the bigger the wheel, the lesser the sidewall on tire and rougher ride/ but better handling.
an easy way to pick wheels is to do a search on ebay for the following wheels that would bolt right up. not necessarily to buy, but more less window shop.

try these searches
audi tt wheels
vw beetle wheels
volkswagen wheels
gti wheels

then try these searches again replacing the word WHEELS with RIMS.

its fun, enjoy!!

Hey your images do not work any more. Please post them again, I just saw your beetle at the "which grill thread".
Looking awesome, I had the same front bumper and now changed for the turbo s bumper. Really sick wide back. I dont like the wheels/rims sticking out but thats a matter of taste.
