There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Oh hi, lady! Glad to see Curby (and you!) still kicking! We got quite a load of snow the last couple of days. It'll probably be gone tomorrow. But it makes for a nice looking weekend!

We got a bunch of snow on Saturday, but it's all melted today.

How are you friend? Hope all is well.

I did. Got the parts from 1stvwparts.com.

Wait, I did have them painted black, but I removed the old pieces and put these on (old were damaged).

I have a thread on it here somewhere...

now that junior has a new water pump and can make the trip without turning into a hotpot although, i'm not sure if G12 would make for a tasty cup of tea...

Hey don't they make those guards for the running boards too? I thought I saw them on a silver bug here in town.

I'd be up for a two-person Iowa GTG! My mom and I have also talked about hitting the Iowa State Fair one of these years, too.

And yes, I am super excited about the 70s temps!

Did you do it yourself??? If so, did you take it off? And one more question, did you use a gloss or flat paint?

I replaced the pieces myself, yes. I had the parts painted by a shop. They used a semi (low) gloss paint.

dudette! we totally go to the fair every, stinking year! we should meet at the fair someday, too!

but i vote an Iowa GTG needs to happen soonerish

we should advertise here on the board LOL Calling all IA Bug Dubbers!

Then again, we'd probably get mocked for our low state representation... (they don't know what they are missing )
