Ok, so my Lady is no longer a daily driver, and spent the winter under cover. Unfortunately with home renovations there's no budget for modifications, so I haven't changed much. We are working on rock-chip and scratch repair quite extensively.

The show season has opened up again, and Lady placed 1st in NB Stock at Spring Show n Go in Englishtown, NJ last weekend.

Here's some pics:

My High School alma mater hosts the Relay for Life every year - this year their car club decided to have a little exhibition to add to the proceeds and additional activities for the participants and volunteers.

Default Dub and Rub 2009

Well, Lady loves her Ta-tas! Despite the rain we went up to Twin Grove, PA for Dub and Rub 2009 - a Breast Cancer benefit. Since losing my grandmother to the disease and being diagnosed as high-risk myself at age 25, this is very near and dear to my heart.

Lady and the Tramp did their spaghetti bowl display and took 1st and 2nd in the "Best Clevage" (best display) category).

Thats a really nice, and REALLY cool car you have there! Question for ya, what kind of paint did you use on your center dash thing? It looks EXACTLY like your exterior!

Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments! I actually purchased a dash overlay from TVA (aiwana.com) and had it painted using the car's paint code (VW uni-red or red depending on how old the paint book is). The pieces were about $150, the professional painting about $200. I didn't have the time to have the car down to remove and paint the actual dash pieces as a lot of orgers like to do - maybe some day!

Default Waterama 2009

Okay, so Lady took another first at Waterama yesterday, this time in New Beetle Modified, after a bit of confusion.

The Geek Squad brought in one of their New Beetles and was the only car in stock class. I was with a black and burgundy 2005 color concept in modified. After watching said owner detail only exterior paint and only opening the car when the judges were physically there, I because confused when they announced that I had only taken 2nd place. This being one of my first shows in modified with only weeks before Waterfest, I asked to see my judging sheet to be able to plan for improvements, projects, etc. Well, that's when the guy in charge realized they announced things backwards for the NB Mod class (and he skipped announcing the Cabrio stock class, which followed us altogether). I had actually taken first by a large margin! They were apologetic, swapped trophies out, and reviewed areas of concern.

Can someone please help me with the pics - I got a message saying that I was maxed out on attachment file space, and now all of my pictures are gone?

I know there's people with more pics posted than I have - and I definitely need to be adding more. I sent a message about 1 1/2 weeks ago and haven't heard back regarding restoring the now missing photos or increasing space, etc.

HELP PLEASE!

you could just open a photobucket account, upload them there and start posting, I am not sure about your pics being gone tho, I hope someone has the answer to that...

I may try that tonight and see if I can recreate the entire thread of my pictures - how do you do photos with links instead of attached files and get them to be visible? I'm so used to Facebook that this file limit issue has me confused.
