Tom,

I need to know where you purchased your bug shield. I would like to puchase one, but I am having trouble sourcing one.

You went above and beyond the usual photo thread. Great pictures; I especially dig the little detail of Shrek wearing New Beetle hat. And speaking of details, the Porsche-esque "Beetle" on the brake calipers is a good one. I also dig the color-matched trim on the rims.

What did you do to the dash pod (speedo/odo/etc)? I'm interested...

Thanks I used a wide angle lens to take a picture of the break calipers. The lens kind of warped the image but I thought it looked cool!

I found an electroluminencent white gauge face on the net. I replaced the the factory black face with this. It was one of the easier mods I've done so far. It looks really wild at night.

I have posted a inquiry on the Convertible section on lowering.
I would value your opinion, could I get you to check out the thread and impart your wisdom.

I would appreciate it very much.

Hey nice job But should'nt that fellow be in the engine helping turning the wheels?

I'll have to look at my email at work for the online receipt for the bug guard. It's funny how I bought most of the toys for my car from work.... I'm surprised how many people ask me about it. I wish I had a supply of them to put on ebay! I post a note on my wallet so I dont forget.

I have'nt taken any pictures in ages I came very close to "whisper" trading him in last week on a Passat. Thankfully I got cold feet after looking at a few of them. I think I will start enjoying the car more as spring arrives and I get take the top down.

If Shrek's still talking to me I wont miss the GTG for anything

*hugs*

Thanks for the compliment . The only part I dont care for are the eye lids. I feel a little bit stuck with them now because of the goop I used to install them.
