hey guys, my name is chris and i'm 18 years old. i've been here for a while but i never started my own thread, but since i just washed and snapped some quick photos of the car i decided to share. plus i finally got a job and now the modding finally begins.

current mod list:
neuspeed p-flo intake
blue interior led lights
painted interior pieces to match the exterior
painted calipers
35% tinted front, 15% tinted rear

future mods:
clear front corners with white led lights
forge 007 dv (pretty sure my oem one is gone)
ecu chip (havent decided which one yet)
6k hids

Very lovely beetle! is the black stripe on the back stock? did you put it on? Its pretty cool!
Also, are those stock wheels? they dont look like it. I really like them a lot!
I have that RSI beetle model too! My bug was in the shop getting her headlight fixed and my grandpa knew how much i was missing my buggy and he bought it for me

my mom bought the car 2nd handed. im guessing the previous owner put the front and back stripes on due to the parking in the city. same with the rims, so im guessing there stock, i like them too but i wish they were 18's.

im thinking i would put the stripes on too after seeing people park their cars. I went to school in chicago and watching those people park is nuts. They would tap the bumper of someones car and meh no biggie. I would KILL someone if they did that to my beetle

yeah its a good investment, if i didnt have the stripes i think my bumper would be beat up, seeing that the stripes have alot of scratch marks. plus, you could give everyone love taps knowing you wont scratch your own bumper by doing so.

Clean bug. The brake calipers look like R32 calipers. The rubber strip is good because my front license plate cover is broken from the front car tried to go out from spot, backward and broke mine.

yeah i was trying to go for the r32 caliper look. as you can tell from the first pic my front license plate is beat up i would take it off but its required to have a front plate in ny.

Let it stay there. I got 2 tickets in MD, fail to attach plate at front. even though I put it behind the windshield on Passenger side

oh man, i was thinking about doing that too, after i saw your pics. i didnt know MD was strict like that. front plate says on then. lol

does anyone know where i could get blue/white hood and rear emblems? i stumbled upon a site that had fronts for $20 and rears for $40 (estimated) but i cant find it anymore. if someone could tell me where i could get them it would be very appreciated

lol, nah i got the car that way, it never really stood out to be until bill called them mustaches. but im glad there on because parking in the city is really rough when there limited and people dont know how to parallel park.
