He's fab! Where in somerset are you? We are from Wells and I'm looking for a 1.8t to replace my MINI there, I have a 1.8t here in the US. Did you import from Texas? if so what was involved as if I can't find the right car there I might consider it, we can ship for under $1000...

Near Langport (midway between Taunton and Yeovil).

Robbie was already in the UK by the time I bought him.

Nice to see it has all come together for you

Happy to see you rattled it, instead of waiting for the respray. It looks mighty cool.

And from past history with Robbie, looks like he likes his new livery as he didn't throw any of his toys out of the pram on your day out

I always thought you were a bit mad loving your Dubs so much and talking to them. Clearing out Blugg today, i could honestly say i felt a lump in my throat. Bit like he's staring at the New Alaskan and being sad he's not wanted anymore

Cool, I know Langport. We run a garage in Shepton & my workshop manager has a T4 so although we're Smart specialists there's some Dub love there too

Got the exhaust fitted today - look great and sounds pretty good (for a diesel anyway). I've tried to capture it on a video but the noise of the engine drowns the exhaust out a bit - it sounds much better in real life... especially on start up!

Time for a pic over load. Gave Robbie and Herbie a bath today, so thought I'd get some nice pics of them together and some decent ones of Robbie.

This is what he looks like at full height front and rear:

Nose down:

Nose up:

I drive him at this height - 60psi front and 40psi rear. It's pretty conservative, but I don't plan on scraping everywhere... pointless being on air otherwise...

Cheers for the nice comments folks

Been building a raised boot floor to give the compressor a bit more breathing room and to hide all the air gubbins.

Hatch for access

The air kit is from Rayvern Rayvern Hydraulics

Most of the install is on page 5. It was pretty easy really. The bags and struts are pretty much direct replacement for standard springs, then the wiring all goes underneath the carpet to the boot where the 2 valves are, the compressor and the tank.

Here's a picture of the boot install before it got tidied up:

Hope this helps
