Amazing how Robbie has transformed over the years. What a great job you've done! I think my fave mod is still the interior work. The red looks fantastic between the black plastic and the cream leather. Beautiful Bug!

Robbie ticked over to the next milestone today:

A little grubby, but doesn't look to shabby, sitting on exactly 100k!

Thought I'd update this thread as I haven't for a while! Robbie is now semi retired he's living in storage at my parents house while I finish my course to become a driving instructor - which I'm using a Harvest Moon Herbie Beetle for. I can't afford to insure Herbie and Robbie (both over £550 each), so Robbie had to be laid up. Anyways - here's some pics from his last show a couple weeks ago:

Allthough Robbie is semi-retired, at least you still have him, and that is good to hear. Thanks for the new pics and keep us up to date on what's going on

Yeah there was no way I was selling him - he means far too much to me... plus I know I'd never be able to get one exactly the same if I did sell him.

But I do have lots of plans for when he comes back

Good to hear that Robbie is still in your stable.

Now, what about the Harvest Moon? Is it yours too?

Not updated this post for months, so here it goes.... Robbie has now been living in a barn at my Mum's house since I got Herbie in July.

Here he is when he met Herbie in September:

And the barn he now lives in - but he's got good company - my Mum's 1302 Cab and my 62 Split at the back:

At Christmas we dragged him out of the barn and drove him around my parents small farm - they've just put in a new access road which makes driving him about much easier! It was great to get back in him

On Christmas Day when waiting for the others to get back from the pub, I gave him a bath and then took a couple pics. I love taking pics of him because he's so photogenic - or, as my bf says... a tart!

I really do miss having him around Herbie's lovely, but he's just not the same as Robbie! He's not naughty for a start! hehe.

Anyways, that's it until I see him again.

I want a garage like your Mum's. I'm glad that you're keeping Robbie. Many just trade in their bugs for another- I couldn't do that.

Its good seeing you here again
