glad you survived your snow experience i remember hitting black ice at a turn on my way to school one time scared me to death.

She did, it was fun. We need to get used to driving in the snow though for sure. I did slide once but I was able to do the right thing without thinking about it

haha, nope, just got them because they were a REALLY good deal and couldn't pass them up...I wasn't sure how they would look on her because she is a light colored beetle but I am very happy with how they look

she most definitely is, I think you're right on both points...I saw on her carfax report that she was in Oregon with the previous owner at one point but has been in CA the rest of the time, she was even imported from San Diego
