Nice pic!

You have done a good job with engine and interior.
I must have been quite a hard work with the engine!
I hope it runs smoothly now

Check out my thread, there are lot of autumnpics...

I first mocked them up with tape and magic marker and drove around for about a week before i made the decision to paint them. i like the look of a smoked side marker lens, but i wanted to make the front a little less cartoonish and get a more aggressive look when the lights are on at night. slowly but surely it is getting put back together...

I too like your turn signals and rear marker lights. Nice touch to have just a little that's not tinted. 8 looks great! I like the idea of getting it painted like an 8 ball. Get the 8 and put it on both doors. That'd be sweet. Get an 8 ball shifter and maybe mock up a pool stick looking thing to go under the nob. So many cool ideas you could do with that. Then if you get another NB you could get a red one and make it a striped ball! Ok, my mind is thinking over time here. That'd be cool though, a whole set of NB pool balls! hahaha

You did some cool mods, love the black roof. If your streets will allow, you should consider lowering a bit. Also good job with the engine swap - I wish I had that skills too

Very nice looking Beetle. I keep going back up to the pics and I just can't visualize it with anything on the exterior that would mar the clean lines. Must be the color, but that is a seriously classy looking car. Maybe and just maybe tint the windows to add to the mysterious look.

That's just me though so I will be interested to see how your ideas for your car play out.

You didn't shoot the interior but don't the Sport's have the same seats as the Turbo S's?

Wow- i am killer late on replying to all of you!
if i could lower it i would, but alas, the mean streets of NE Ohio will not allow such a thing in the winter.
Thank you all for the kind remarks. As of right now i am finishing up spraying the rest of the interior pieces up in black and the next project is replacing my front passenger side wheel bearing. Fun! I love this car!
