Reminds me of some of the VW buses i've seen with that kind of flooring I like the way it ties in with the tan interior. Good job man!

Default where'd you hide the body?

I was dropping off my son at the local pizza place last night when I felt someone tailgating me on the way back home.
I had forgotten to tuck the body in all of the way.
'tis the season, have a Happy Halloween!

Let's keep it weird, y'all...

Default Rage Roof Cargo Basket

Something came in the mail today, I ordered it Sunday.
Quick delivery, nice styling, I'm satisfied, only 24 lbs.

Two pieces that connect with screws.

Front view

I'll take more pics once I'm out in the daylight.
The first (easy) step to building my baja bug.

Default Parcel Tray

I took some Lexan and cut out a parcel tray, kind of olde school.
Spray bombed it with VHT Niteshades.
Fashioned some two-piece aluminum brackets and used the three screws below the glove box to mount it.
It's just a little extra small item storage. We'll see how it holds up.

Default Rock Slider prototype

I'm playing around with a rock slider design for my baja project.
Tube steel to be mounted under the rockers.
I still need to find some mounting points underneath.
3D Inventor model...I'll probably downsize the tubes.

Default Front Bumper prototype

More Inventor models, tube steel bumper with light tabs.
Wraps around a bit. No mounting points yet.

Thanks, Cwgrl...

Not much goin' on 'round here, it's winter and cold.
I made some light brackets out of salvaged sheet metal.
Slapped them on the roof basket and added some reflectors.

Front

Rear

I'll add a rear backup light and a pair of baja's in front in the Spring.

I like the bumper idea. Maybe some over riders or bumperettes on that bull bar. Keep posting. Let me know if you are getting some fabricated.

It appears that I am still in the "dream" stages of the bumpers.
There are some other mods that I would like to do first.

He'll be paid off in another year, maybe then I will get wild with him.

Default Blue eyes

Skörpy gets a pair of blue eyes to match his driver's (mine are ice blue, a shade bit lighter).

Lamin-X Optic Blue Headlight protective film.
It's an easy install, but a hair dryer is needed for compound curves of the headlights.

Lights on...

Lights off...

Default Bread racks...great deal!

I put the roof rack to good use this week.
I won a silent auction at work for two bread racks($10 a piece).
It looks a little like Sanford & Son but I got 'em home.

I just installed a Draw-Tite hitch this past weekend. Waiting for wiring harness in the mail to install.
I'm going to tow a jet-ski with it.
Staging area

Installed

I've been waiting three years to recover from this recession.
I'm finally going to get wet again. Fun times are coming.
