I really like the stance. Have you dropped the front more than the rear? Your car needs no more mods. It is just "right" in my book.

Oh, thank you very much!

The Blue one is my first car, and Iīm trying hard to keep it alive It isnīt a "showroom car", if we talk about the condition of it, but I will keep on trying to fix it better little by little

I have always dreamed of New Beetle. And finally 2,5 years ago
I managed to buy one; I have been happy since (to my car)

I hope that you could get another Bug for you someday!
Wishes may come true...

I havenīt done anything to the suspension. It was like that when I bought it. I suppose that my car has still itīs original struts and shocks...
The ground clearance is quite near to the stock height (9 cms),maybe little bit less now (because those parts are getting old).

Thanks again Iīm not planning to do any more "mods".
My summer rims are not stock and I have painted those winter steelies; thatīs quite enough for me

But I really enjoy to browse around here at the org and seek interesting, modded Beetles like yours (which I like very much!)

You make me blush

Yes, old Beetles are quite easy to repair; it is a good car to start with, if person is not very experienced with cars. I wasnīt very skilled when I bought it, but I learned soon to take care of it. And in addition to that, I got also good advices; my brother helped me at the start. He used to have 2 Beetles, when I was a kid, so he knew, what to do. I am very thankful to him And he will still help me if I need a hand... Thanks my dear Bro!

Another good point is that you can easily find parts for it. And parts arenīt very expensive.

Keep on believing your dream. But you must be patient... It took 10 years for me to get NB, which I had dreamed of

Your blue old Beetle looks very nice! It must be fun having both an old one and a new one.

I am sure, your brother can fix Old Beetle also. It is only a question of attitude, like you said

Comparing to Chevy, many mechanical things of Beetle may seem like very odd. But people should keep in mind, what are the origins of a Beetle... It was designed to be cheap but still reliable. And that basic concept is very old; Ferdinand Porsche
started to design Volkswagen in mid 1930īs

That color is a good one! It is original tone for my car; I have painted it myself, but I used original color then (Diamond Blue).

Well, actually I like almost every color on a Beetle

This weekend I visited in a VW-swap meeting.
Some of our local VW-clubīs members were also there.

It was cold weather to drive a Cabrio; we had -17 degrees of celsius then (1 degrees of Fahrenheits)

Hereīs pics of my friendīs Old Cabriolet; he has also NBC

I saw chocolate New Beetle in Baby Sallieīs thread.
Then I remembered that also I have a chocolate Beetle.

Normally I store it in my fridge; I just took it out to take some pics of it and put it in to my model car shelf.

Oh, I donīt want to tell, how old it is, because it is very old I really donīt want to eat it...
