Lony, nice black NB! Coupla questions:

1. Where did u position the boost controller (pls post pic!)?
2. Where did u get the dimpled rings for the gauge pod?
3. Where did u mount the oil cooler amd does it make a difference in water temps?

Thx!

1. The boostvalve itself is in the engine bay behind the intake air filter and the switch is... see pic!

2. The rings are part of the gauges - i got them from silverimageracing.com

3. I wrote a how-to in the old forum. The oilcooler now sits there where the oem intercooler was. Water temps are nearly the same on the autobahn.

I am now hitting 21 PSI in overboost and 15 @6500 - thats the most safe we got with stock fueling. I throw the switch whenever I want

My question is, do you throw it at full boost or just prior to steppin' on the gas?!

Sorry man, I'm still in a learning curve. I just never could understand exactly how and when you dial it up or throw the switch, especially if you're shifting with one hand and steering with the other! Can't u just leave it 'on' all the time?

No problem If I am on the track the switch is always on. But for daily driving it stays off - less mpg and still enough power. I have set low boost to 10 PSI. And if somebody wants to play with me...

I need much more practice, but we have only a few events per year where we can drive a 1/4 in Germany...

Last time I run a 14.7 @ 101 mph.

What gains did you see with the ABD intake manifold? Did you lose any low end and/or midrange power? What ever you gained from the manifold..I'm sure it'll be even more when you go to larger turbo (what is an "eliminator"?..in ref to the GT28RS turbo?).
Thanks!

Look at the abd manidold thread, there is a lot of info. I agree that this manifold produces even more gains on big turbo applications. But even with my k04 I saw more torque between 2000 and 4500 rpm.
