Thank goodness it was nothing more than an air bubble! Yeah Evilina gets a little funny here and there if I leave her hungry for too long. Silly beetles!

I agree!!

Mine isn't a TDI, but it's still handy info to have... I try not to let it get too low either, but there are just some days...

lol yeah, I told him he was a "stinker" for doing that to me. Ironically enough, to clean out the air bubble we had to open the lines and it sprayed diesel fuel...so his "air bubble" did have a "smell" to it HAHA

Ok, so I've decided I want to go with a VW factory color to accent Probie with. And as you know...I want blue. But what blue? I've narrowed it down to 3 that I like. Here are the options:

Techno Blue
Satellite Blue
Blue Lagoon

I'm leaning toward Blue Lagoon, simply because I like the name and it's a true bright blue color. Though...I have thought about Batik Blue too but it might be too dark. What do you guys think?

So Probie and I went out to the VW dealership in Athens to get a part...they were closed On our way home we stopped at Walmart to get some items. When I returned to Probie, this is what I saw....

Now mind you, I like Nascar. My ex was obsessed.... And he was a HUGE fan of Jeff Gordon...me not so much. So it's ironic that THIS parked right next to Probie....*sigh* if Only it would have been Tony Stewart or something I may have felt better...

Probie would look hot as well if he took a pic with a car with the #88 on it

Yeah but it would have to be the BROWN #88 Which the driver is no longer racing.

Today Probie got a bit of an adventure! Matt and I went out with his family for father's day, (since mine is in Michigan and I can't be with him) and Probie got to meet a new friend.

So let me ask you this.....how is it possible to feel so big and yet sooo small at the same time??? Try parking next to this...you'll know what I mean then....

Hmmm....I love Probie, but I would LOVE to take that lambo for a ride with the top down....*drool* I'm sure his exhaust would make my straight pipe sound....wimpy

But in other news...I finally get my ToD stickers on! YAY! I'll post pics later.

Let the evolution of Blue...begin.....

Ok, ok, ok....I know I'm terrible about posting pics when I say I'm gonna. No new pics of the ToD sticker yet. Though, they are pretty darn sweet lookin'. I'm kinda torn, tell me what'cha think. Should I go get some regular blue from the auto store or wherever and paint my wheel nuts OR should I wait until I can afford the paint from paintscratch.com and get the Blue Lagoon color (which is the color I'm going to use to accent the car eventually)?? The difference is... I could walk out of AutoZone with blue paint and clear coat for like $12...but paintscratch would be like $45 plus shipping for paint and clear coat. Do you think blue engine paint is close to Blue Lagoon?

I'm just an impatient person and I don't want to wait to get those painted. Something SO simple! Just like I'm having the hardest time saving money to get the spoiler painted and put on as well as tint....ugh.... I hate patience.....

My advice would be NOT to paint your lug nuts. Reason being is they'll look like crap the first time you need to remove your wheel. Even the best base/clear coat won't hold up to torquing lug nuts down. I'm all for accenting Probie in Blue Lagoon, but you'd be better off leaving those natural. Center caps maybe?? With a BL pinstripe just inside the wheel/tire lip?
Those pin striping wheels are pretty cheap and very easy to use.

Check this tool out. I had one years ago and they work the ba!!s. You can even get different widths for the wheels for wider, narrower stripes.

That's a neat pinstriping tool! I may have to look that up. And I hadn't planned to paint the lug nuts, it's the center nut of the wheel that used to be red. I'm not sure what that thing is called! lol I like the idea of pin striping the wheels....hm....*ideas developing* oh boy....
