Go ahead Al. I'm open to ideas. I know it'll probably be awhile before any accent gets put on the car, but when I have a goal it's easier to go for then! Let me see what'cha got!

As an alternative to paint. You can take Al's paint shop design to anyone who cuts vinyl lettering displays. They should be able to whip the design up for cheap and you can use that to see if it's something you really wnt to paint on the car. Plus the new vinyls are soooo thin, you can barely tell they aren't painted on.

That is very true. I have been asked at least 10 times where I got Speedles' decals painted on at.

Well, I will do some researching online for some decals I like and Decal Idol can begin! Now granted they are going to be "rough" ideas of what I want. I'm still considering adding autobots in it somehow. Debating on how geeky I want to get with the car though, I'll already have emblems on the side (which I have yet to put on, hopefully doing that this weekend) and considering wheel emblems...lol We'll see!

I love the 1st graphic you photoshopped onto Probie. Take that pic to a vinyl cutter and have them recreate that pattern in a low profile vinyl.

Ok, Matt, Probie, and I had a fun weekend. We went to an office party on Friday night, then on Saturday up to South Carolina for a TDI GTG. I have a few pictures from that and I will post them tonight when I get home. Probie got new brake fluid (which was good because he had solid chunks in there), new rear pads and rotors, new injector nozzles, and got a diesel purge. So he's running well. Tweeked a few things with the Vag-Com, now he's a little faster on the take off. Only issue I've run into is that there is a fuel leak somewhere within the injector nozzles. So I've been dropping fuel and just creating a huge mess. Gonna have it looked at tonight hopefully! So, I'll post pics when I get home. Just wanted to let ya'll know we had a good weekend and we got Tweeked!

Ooo I know I forgot something. I did a ROUGH cut and paste on that decal layout I was talking about. Just food for thought.

Like the designs you're cooking up too

I vote for 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7

Sorry for the delay on this and the roughness

As promised, here are some pictures that I took during the week as well as at the TDI GTG. The first two is just Probie at work, then he was enjoying his reflextion at Subway. The last pictures are of our weekend in South Carolina. These pictures were taken when he was being taken apart to get some new larger nozzles.

Before I forget, keep your figures crossed for Probie that we don't have to go back to the doc. After getting his new nozzles, we were having some fuel issues. He was leaking fuel all over the engine compartment. Well today got progressively worse and I decided to go see my TDI doc, Troy. Well, everytime we stopped, Probie would leave large puddles of diesel fuel. My CEL came on and he started to run really really rough. Steam would billow out from underneath the hood like he was severely over heating, he wasn't, it was just burning diesel fuel. By the time I got to Troy's, diesel was seeping out from under the hood down the front bumper, my fog lights and lower grill were covered in fuel. When I popped the hood, the head liner in the hood started to pour out diesel fuel as if someone was pouring it from a cup. Steam came rushing out and soon Troy's garage floor was covered in atleast a gallon of diesel fuel. I used a quarter tank of fuel to go 56 miles!!! After some investigation, the injector line on cylinder 4 was completely loose. Probie was misfiring on cylinder 4 that was causing him to run rough the whole time. I was afraid he'd break a motor mount; he was shaking so hard. So we tightened the line, and it looks like it's threaded weird. So it may or may not stay fixed. So, prayers for Probie if you will, that we don't have to go through this ordeal again. Nothing like watching your pride and joy bleed out everything you just put into him and not know what's causing it. I hated to drive him in that condition, but I knew he needed to be looked at and soon! So, that was our ordeal today. Hopefully that won't happen again. I'm borrowing Matt's 17 mm open ended wrench so if it does, I will be acquiped to fix it. My poor little guy!!

Probie's twin is in Gainesville.

I keep seeing a Silver Bug with similar rear lights.

MC gets excited and I have to tell him to relax... poor thing.
