Wow girl, you have some balls!
Take your car apart and paint it

It took me a long time taking apart the door handles and paint them. So nervous!

Do your thing!

Your car is like the holy grail for me, I am absolutely in AWE of it. I'm obsessed with pink and would so do this to my car if I had the time/money/permission.

I showed my mom this car and she made a face, I think knowing I had the idea to try it on mine and promptly told me to leave my bug alone, heh.

This is the best mod job I've seen on a bug, hands down.

Lol I am pink obessed as well. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but going down the street I feel like a princess in my pimped out beetle.

I bought this car so I get to do whatever I want to it,otherwise my mother wouldn't let me either! It took A LOT of time and energy mostly. Paint wasn't all that exspensive but time consuming!

I'm going to say I like the look you were going for, but there are definite minus points for all the pink overspray all over everything. You got the idea, if you're going to leave everything in the car to paint, paint your light colors first (I.E. Pink) and then paint your darks, like black, so they cover up any of the overspray you might have done, and cover the pink spots so no black spots get on the pink.

The dash is very easy to remove the bottom parts of, but you did ok on the bottom of the dash, except for where you stopped painting. Fix that little spot, and it'll be good. The stuff you did outside was obviously done very well ,and I hope you just fix the little overspray issues, and you will have a very hot looking car.

Also, the seat covers will not allow the airbags to deploy, you can cut into them, and tuck the edges behind the airbag cover, a lot of people have done that, or you can order custom ones from a company in Hawaii called "Wet okole" www.wetokole.com they can make a pink and black cover for you and stitch in lettering. You choose the style, colors, and material, and it's vehicle specific, so you make notes of the car, and they make the modifications for your airbags. They are pricey, but you can get the whole set and they look very nice.

Otherwise, it's a nice car, and the colors match well. See if you can clean the paint off the steering wheel too, no big deal. And for my last bit of 2 cents, make sure you clear coat anything you paint if you want it to last longer, and it will alow you to clean it with normal cleaners like the rest of the car. It's up to you.

Tyra was evidently in a crash. See PinkBug4289's thread in the photo section of her Turbo S. She mentions that this car is to replace Tyra who was totalled.
