Friday was a good day all around. Got a lot of yard work done in the morning and took a nap in the afternoon as I had to get rested for the second half.

Foxy, i.e. "Foxy Island Girl" as our 2005 Cyber Green NB TDI has been officially named, (because we live on "Fox Island the name came naturally) transported my wife and I out to dinner for our 33rd wedding anniversary.

The other good news, on the way home we had to get diesel and this gave me the first chance to calculate my mileage. I’m such a romantic. 41.5 MPG @ 20% freeway, 20% city and 60% rural roads, i.e. roads with 25 to 45 mph limits. I’m happy with that.

The wife is from Odessa, TX. Her parents moved up here when she was 18 and never went back. If she needs a reminder why she mover here, I take her across the mountains (yes, the ones in the picture. That's Mt Rainier coming out of Foxy's sun roof) to eastern Washington.

Great pics! LOVE greet bugs!

I have mud flaps and I don't like them. I keep thinking about taking them off, but never have. I live on a dirt road and they don't do a thing to actually keep the mud off, I still get mud slung all over Bullett when it rains!

Default Do I Have A Story to Tell

So the other morning I go out to give Foxy a cleaning and when I look in the back seat I find several empty Heineken bottles and a CD. I’m thinking what the? I clean up the mess and take the CD into the house and put in the computer and I can’t believe my eyes.
Foxy in Bavaria, it can’t be, but look, these pictures.

Could this be the Bavarian Alps? Where did these come from and how did Foxy end up in them?

Taken from inside the local Pub and Eatery I would guess, but by whom?

How did my wife’s Foxy get to Bavaria? How can this happen? What is going on?

What is this? Now it is all starting to come together, but how did Foxy get to Leavenworth, WA?

And who is this behind the wheel of Foxy?

TRUDI, You have a lot of explaining to do.

Looks like you had beautiful weather over here on my side of the big mountains! My husband and I moved from the west side about 15 years ago, everytime I go back to the west side I realize why I still live over here. Traffic, Rain, traffic, rain, hmmm not sure which is worse! I will admit that I miss seeing the awe-inspiring Cascade Mountain range from just about everywhere you look over there! On a good day you even get to see The Olympics! Yippeee!

P.S. A fluffy white creature went for a joy ride!

The Mt Shasta and Dunsmuir area are really nice. I don't know of any themed towns, but the mountains are really pretty

I took Foxy to work with me today just because I could and the wife gave me permission. Besides, foxy needed some fresh air and she could play with the sea gulls while I was working.

10 hours later and it's time to go home. Foxy's not use to being out so late and in the salt air. I guess she made friends with the sea gulls, because not one of them pooped on her, unlike my pick-up who the sea gulls use for target practice.
