Today the airport is open and a lot of flights had departed.
My scheduled day of departure (SDD) would've been next week Wednesday by which date all planes should leave as scheduled.

It's a bummer

So, please, if there's a mod out there, can you change the title of this thread to '01? Thanks

The certificate is very nice. The paper is thick, on the left, what is scanned as black, there's a silver lining.
Too bad the main language on the certificate is German

Leusden is de town where the Dutch Volkswagen importer PON is located.
Bugje has been waiting at the factory for almost 2 years before he got moved to a dealership.
The date which is mentioned when he left the factory is the same date as when Bugje got his licenseplate for the first time.

It's a pretty cool certificate if you ask me
Neat, I would like to have one for all of my NB's, but with the current exchange rate, $47 bucks is a little on the high side. And I think the Deutsch (German) makes it that much more original.

I suppose, they put some kind of a rubber "worm" into the hole.
I donīt know, what the correct word would be in English, but in Finnish language, we use a word "mato" (= worm)
The guy had inserted from the inside out a rubber mushroom.
The 'trunk' of the mushroom was pushed through the hole and cut.

Today it's Bugje's 9th birthday

Today's date in 2001 is mentioned on the birthcertificate which you can see on the previous page.

In March 2007 the left B-style was changed for free by the dealership as it was rust from the inside.

For quite some months now (actually already since somewhere in 2009) the right side B-style has shown the same 'wormy' bubbles.

This past Friday I went by the dealership to show the bubbles.
A man took some photos and they will contact me somewhere next week.
They need to contact the 'warranty' man at the importor, so I hope they will have good news for me.

Keep your fingers crossed!!!

My paint in that area has just worn off. No bubbles, but mine doesn't look great, either. Good luck with the repair Marcia.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

That's awesome! I knew you could write off to Wolfsburg for certificates for the air cooled cas, but had no idea you could get them for the newer ones too. I guess I have a few more to order now. +

Photos taken last weekend in Germany.

These horses were saved from being slaughtered. They live their retirement here at the farm.

Parking was outside the farm, but I've asked the proprietor if I could drive inside to take some photos. She looked weird at me, but granted me permission

Then the lady was upset that I had taken photos in front of the fading green doors (and not in front of the freshly painted doors...). Well, freshly painted doors are no fun

Beautiful shots! It's funny how some people don't get artistic photography.

You're so right! My German is pretty good, but I couldn't explain that to the farmlady.
Looking back on the photos I should've taken a bit more time to make good shots, but I felt a bit embarassed to be there, so I hurried up

It is fun to browse through your own photo thread and see places you've been to years ago.

How time flies.

Also I've been browsing the 'Bugje' files on my laptop and I've found an older photo which is pretty cool, but hasn't been posted It was taken on Oct 9th 2005, so almost 5 years ago!
Enjoy!

Also, see these couple of photos below which were taken in Germany June 2010.

Please don't ask me what this is about
It has something to do with the local fire department, but that's all I know.
