Thanks! I have some awesome pink decals for the side that I'm waiting impatiently to get a pic of. & I'm going to start interior painting soon. I've already got the pink paint, and I'm in the process of sanding and getting the gunk off all the pieces.

I wanna post pics of my decals.
My camera phone just doesn't cut justice, and we were so busy at the tattoo shop yesterday I didn't get a chance to grab the cam. ![]() Took a pic yesterday of Speedles interior. I am so ready to get my dash painted pink! Very impatient too.. |

. I too like your pink decals much better.... ![]() What paint did you end up picking up for your interior? If ya ever have any questions, I'm sure someone on here has painted their interior atleast 3 times in the past 3 years.... ![]() ![]() |

That should do the trick. But if you want, you might be better off using the platic interior spray paint from auto zone, just as cheap, lasts longer! You want a clear cloat too... trust me.
I didn't use primer, but many members suggest it. I will suggest TAKE YOUR TIME, LET each coat DRY fully first, and clean the parts before you take em off,... Watch for Overspray... |

Thanks for the tips!
Boy do I need them. I checked the Auto Zone here and they didn't have pink or even green so thats what took me to Lowe's. I was wondering about primer though, so its nice to hear someone used it and it came out good. Also everyone, I bought some black dye and I will be doing my ugly tan headliner black. I'm still looking at black spray for the door panels so if any one has any suggestions I will be more than happy to hear them! |

Dupont automotive vinyl and fabric spray is GREAT for the flat stock black look. We used it for Evilina's interior for the first 3 years and it held up great! But we wanted something more forever and we just redid her interior in an SEM automotive Hot Rod Flat black spray. The first time we painted Evilina's interior, it was just fixing the top black part of the door panels. Then I started noticing people doing color accents and we went back and changed it all. If you look back on Evilina's thread, the pink I originally used was the Krylon River Rose spray paint. I also used the Krylon Plastic Primer before painting. It too held up GREAT for 3 years but Evilina just needed a change.
![]() As Kate said, TAKE YOUR TIME! And it should turn out GREAT! OH and a clear coat is DEFINITELY needed if you want that shine and protection. I can't wait to see when you are done ![]() |

Thanks Shonnel!
I think I've seen the Dupont kind at Auto Zone, I'll check it out later today. Curtis says once we have everything we need we will start on it. Most likely on a Wednesday or a Saturday, those are usually the days he isn't doing something on base. Oh, he bought me a new camera! Its a Sanyo 8 megapixel and I love it! As soon as he finished changing to oil in Speedle I will post pics of the pink decals! I'm so excited!! |

My brother put them on, but he professionally tints windows so he is used to it. He says they were fairly easy to put on. The only "hard" part was he had to use his heat gun to shrink it on the edges and around the door.
Thanks for the compliment! ![]() |

I have a new decal to put on and I'm a little nervous because I want it just right! It helps to have someone who is experienced with these kinds of things. You might have said this already, but where did you get your decals?
