wow VERY impressed on the headlight restoration. Always wondered how well the process would work. I have another car that needs it done. What kit did you use?

also love the wheels. thin 5-spokes are my all time fav. Titan's looking good! BTW whats the latest on your TOD attendance?

The sad part is that while i was sanding my headlight, i noticed that my my front passenger side tire looked low... I bent over to check it out and the whole thing was literaly splitting along the sidewall. That tire is done . Thank you VW for kindly giving us a fullsize spare tire !! I most likely won't get a new tire until Tuesday... I'll be buying two, for the fronts. I bought 2 shortly after i bought the car, so those will move up to the front and the 2 new ones will go to the rear.

Also, i bought new wipers! I got RainX Latitude wipers for Titan! I had the Bosch Icons in my hand and when i walked past the latitudes, they had a sign that said "Buy 2 and get $10 off!". So i put the icons down and left with the Latitudes. We're going into raining season now, so i'll let you all know how these perform.

Finally in terms of bittersweet, i managed to successfully change out my coolant temp sensor! But, somehow, i managed to drop the retaining clip so now the sensor is just sitting in there. I knew that if i ran the car any, the coolant would spray out so i didn't mess with it at all. Which is good i guess because if i would have done any driving, i most likely would have had a blowout. I'm going to go over to the dealership tomorrow in the Expedition and buy a new retaining clip. Oh and in the 2nd to last picture, i noticed that something looks a tad Ghettofied.... Never noticed this before...

Here are some pictures to conclude this update.
headlights look freakin' awesome!!!! I might have to attempt that. Sadly, new job does limit the time to work on the car now.

Matt put Latitudes on the jeep before he sold it just recently. OH MY WORD! Those blades are AWESOME!!!! I tried to steal them off the jeep. I really did. But sadly, I could not. I'm jealous you got that deal. I just don't feel like paying $18 a blade....ugh. You will LOVE them, I'm just here to tell you. They don't leave streaks either. So my guess is they won't etch the glass....like mine are doing

Sucks bought the tire though. That's pretty amazing it just split like that. Atleast now you'll have a matching set. And they will all be fairly new! That's a good thing.

Good to see Titan coming along. Probie will have some updates soon....just gotta schedule some time to do it now.

No kit. Just 1500 grit sandpaper (2 sheets will do), rubbing compound, Meguiars PlastX, and a towel. Thats it. Oh, and water

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Thay was at Advance Autoparts where i got them! I believe they also have a coupon on their website for a small cashback thing too. You should check it out!

How ironic, Saturday I changed the wiper, sunday when i couldn't drive because of the coolant sensor retainer it STORMED! Then after i changed the retaining clip, its sunny. Its not supposed to rain for at least another week now

Nice job on the headlights. I've been looking at the Rain-X Latitudes for awhile. I have Bosch Icons now and they work great but I might try the Latitudes next.

Semi Update:

Titan has a K&N Air filter and a Forge DV waiting to be installed still...

Also, had an issue the other day... Door lights, horn, and power window ALL stopped working . Then at last night's GTG, one guy brought his fuse checker and turns out that Titan has about 8 bad fuses... Some aren't broken, but there is some corrosion in some of the fuse sockets.

I'm gonna go buy all new fuses to replace everything and some battery contact spray to help in there. MAYBE this will fix my sunroof!!

Finally, 2 got 2 new tires . Unfortunately, the brand of tire i have changed the name so it looks like i have 2 differen't brands on. But the threads are all exactly the same!

Same thing happened to mine over the winter, except it happened to the power mirrors, door locks and gas cap. :| Really thinkin it could be the same thing. Good luck

Titan's been out of the loop for awhile and he misses you guys. So here are some photos with some updates over the last month or so.
Titan with the South Florida Euro's on a practice poker run...

Titan going in for his Coil Pack recall and sparkplug change.

Thats about it for now folks. I've been working and haven't taken many pictures of him lately. Speaking of pictures, the first few were taken by a good friend, Hector at the Poker Run trial! He takes some pretty amazing photos!

I've decided to go ahead and start saving some $$$ so i can get some Racelands Coilcovers, a Unitronic ECU chip,an all new Audio Setup, and a few other surprises.

Well, that concludes this update for now guys! Signing out at 91,500 miles

Great pictures. You've got Titan looking wonderful. Keep us posted on all the new goodies. We have a new receiver ordered for Gandalf. The old "stock" rig ate a CD and won't spit it back out. Looking forward to seeing your new audio stuff. New toys are fun.

I'm still shocked how many of them really like my bug! Surprisingly, most of them have had bugs in the past too. I want to upload the pic i took of one of the other bugs before he sells it.

I have 20% on Probie. Georgia law is 35%...but that's just a waste of tint IMO. But 20% is perfect! Not too dark so that it makes it hard to see at night, but not so light that you can see right through it!!!
