2006 Reflex Silver 2.5 Pkg #2

Here are some pics of our 2006 Pkg 2 with a 5sp. Because we live in Oklahoma City and drove to Fort Worth, TX we now have 500 miles after only a couple of weeks.

I love the wheels too! I get a lot of compliments on them. Went and had the windows tinted last week and that was the first thing the guy said "love those wheels".

We wanted the Shadow Blue, but the only Pkg #2 5 sp 2.5L in a 300 mile area was Silver. Now that I have it I really like it. Our last one was Cyber Green. This one has a much more "sporty" look to it. Of course the 2.5L is a BIG difference from the 2.0L.

There is a story behind that plate...I specifically told the dealer DO NOT put the front plate bracket on the car. I live in a state you do not need front plates.

Of course upon delivery it was installed. They said the "prep" guys did it before he could get to it. You can see in my avatar that there is no bracket on it yet. That pic is the one they sent me since I live 180 miles from the dealer.

So now I had to find a "classy" looking plate as I never leave a dealer marking anywhere on any of my vehicles. I like the plate, but man it cost me $45 shipped!!!

Yeah, it's my wife's car, but she says changing from Cyber Green to the Reflex Silver feels different. I just chuckled. I think it's the 17" wheels and 150hp engine.

I LUV IT! I LUV IT! Very, very nice! I really like the new lower front fascia treatment. Also, the wheels are first rate! And that silver paint job makes it look like a sophistcated, mean German (well, descent anyway) machine!

Very nice! Was it me or did they stop making the silver and platinum gray beetles after 2008? Those colors were awesome.
